The goal of the SUD Program is to teach clients skills to maintain sobriety. This service addresses needed major lifestyle changes as well as unhealthy attitudes and behavioral issues which can undermine the goals of treatment or inhibit the individual’s ability to cope with major life tasks. The challenges that come along with daily life change can be overwhelming for the newly recovering individual. Both the IOP and Outpatient programs offer evidenced-based curriculum.
Although abstinence is the primary goal of the program, some clients may require assistance with harm reduction and other motivational techniques to reduce use. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is offered at Day One Integrative Services. Individual and group therapy are used to support clients in addressing addiction issues.
