Dr. Nockowitz earned his medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, then completed postgraduate training in internal medicine, psychiatry and consultation psychiatry at Harvard Medical School’s Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
Dr. Nockowitz has expertise in the areas of the medical-psychiatric interface, neuropsychiatry, addictions, dementia and delirium, and complex partial seizures, and has authored book chapters on depression and suicide, psychopharmacology, and enhancing patient compliance.
Over the past 25 years, Dr. Nockowitz has been Chief of the Consultation Psychiatry and Emergency Psychiatry for The Ohio State University Hospitals, had a private practice, lectured nationally to physicians about psychiatric conditions and treatment, worked as a medicolegal expert in psychiatry, and served in numerous Medical Director Roles both locally and nationally.
Presently, Dr. Nockowitz runs My Psychiatric Partner. LLC, a telepsychiatry service which utilizes video conferencing to provide psychiatric care in various clinical settings including directly to patients at home and serves as the Medical Director for Day One Integrative Services.
